Jerry's shop

In a final frenzy, we put up a shop/storage building, only half of the final building- this was approx. 12'X14' -with suntuff roofing for light and heat. We had to chip away ice from the pilings, but then the sun came and turned everything to mud, so the girls wrestled. Ok, well there was a definite lack of females at this camp, so we just built.

All rough-cut spruce from our beloved Kodiak.

I left before it was finished, nice spruce siding will cover the outside. Old plywood was from Jerry's old house that burnt down, and the shop was built in his style of open floored, light- entered roofing. This shop was built in his honor, we salute you, Jerry.

Update: shop with door and siding- beautiful!
