Return to Uyak

We are back, caretaking for the Munsey's Bear camp, in Uyak Bay. Today was windy and cold, but we took an excellent hike in the afternoon- saw many things:



huge icycles



shipwreck



old goldmine machinery



and a bottomless abyss, either a mine shaft or else the fabled tunnel under Amook Pass that we have been told about. Either being true, it was full of ice, so we didn't crawl underwater to Amook Island.
