Uyak

Early in January, Rose and I went to caretake for a remote wilderness lodge in Uyak Bay, on the west side of Kodiak Island (see http://www.munseysbearcamp.com/ for a description of the lodge). Rose stayed with me for a month, and then went back to Kodiak to resume her work with the Alutiiq museum. So as I write these posts, I am alone in the bay, though I do have two cats to keep me company. And I am busy, as you will see.
